An enchanting engagement amongst the trees
What I love most about engagement shoots is the opportunity to visit new and remote areas, intimate places that couples have chosen as their special place to spend time together.
For this engagement shoot I joined Nick and Jo and their two dogs Holly and Ernie at the Nettlebridge woods where they love to walk on lazy sundays.
Strolling through the luscious greenery Nick took us on a long trek to a special place where the trees completely enclosed the path, shutting us off from the rest the of the world.
As Ernie bounded through the forest, occasionally disappearing for worryingly long periods before coming back, we grabbed some shots of special moments that truly resonated the fun, love and laughter that Nick and Jo are all about.
As we left the hideaway Nick’s eagle eyes spotted a wild deer – we couldn’t get close but it was such a tender moment as we stopped and stared quietly to appreciate.
We finished off the shoot amidst giant trees and gorgeous light, the perfect ending to a perfect afternoon.
I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding with them – this is Nick and Jo’s engagement and the start of their story.
